Since its launch in 1997, MPC series has been highly acclaimed across various industries. With the introduction of the new testing method, “Automatic Coaxial Optical Fibers Method,” in the MPC-6, measurement of not only pour point and cloud point but also freezing point of Aviation fuels has become possible. Furthermore, this testing method has been officially approved by ASTM. The ASTM number is D8615.

This new standard, ASTM D8615-25, was officially approved by ASTM International in August 2025. It offers an automated measurement technique that replaces the conventional manual method (ASTM D2386), enabling higher accuracy and greater efficiency. The measurement range extends from -80°C to +20°C, and results are displayed in 0.1°C increments, allowing for very detailed analysis. The method also boasts high reliability, with reproducibility (R) of 1.30°C and repeatability (r) of 0.95°C, ensuring consistent and trustworthy measurement results.
We sincerely thank everyone who has supported and collaborated with us thus far. With the adoption of this new standard, it is now possible to perform dispersing point measurements with higher precision and efficiency, further enhancing our offerings.
