The Japanese government has announced the State of Emergency in 7 prefectures including Tokyo on April 7 ordering the society to minimize the movement of the people while keeping necessary lifelines up and running. At Tanaka, we regard ourselves as key supporters of the petroleum industry which is one of the necessary lifeline industries. Under this situation, while keeping most of our employees at home and working remotely, we will have minimal number of people working in our office to carry on the necessary shipments and services to continue to support the petroleum industry.
Our target is to maintain the same high level of response quality and speed during this State of Emergency but due to the limited number of personnel in the office, there may be some delays especially in handling phone calls to office. We ask you for your kind understanding and patience, and request that you utilize e-mails rather than phones whenever possible.
Please also understand that shipments or repairs may take longer than usual due to the numerous circumstances caused by the current Covid-19 issue.
We at Tanaka wish everyone’s health and safety, and hope that we can together recover from the current crisis soon.
